Trim size
Matches KDP trim size in inches. For many notebooks 6 x 9 in is a popular choice.
Page count
Many low content notebooks use 100 to 200 pages. This tool limits output to 500 pages for performance.

Margins (inches)
Inner margin is on the binding side and flips automatically on left and right pages. Always confirm your margins against the latest KDP guidelines before publishing.
Line settings
Smaller values create more lines per page. Around 0.25 in is a good starting point.
Controls how bold the lines appear. Values around 0.01 to 0.02 work well.
Header line
This space sits between the top margin and the header line. The first writing line is one spacing below the header, so every gap is consistent.
Page numbers
Outer corners place numbers on the outer edge of each page, which can look more balanced for bound books.
Guides
Guides are for visual help only and appear in the exported PDF. Turn them off before export if you want a clean interior.
